London Classical Singer/ Wedding singer
Acting biography
From age 17, I have had opportunities to act in various local theatre troops, such as "We Mise pa Mo", a Martinique group on Slavery; "Teat' Lari" Productions, leading theatre troop in her native island.
I played a main and intense part, as an iconic slave, and was very much photographed and published by/in both Local and National press agencies.
The groups toured many venues, as well as the Carnival, and were extremely popular as Cultural Inputs.
The music used for the performances was an extremely soulful piece and a great conducting force for emotional inspiration, to all.
My stage presence and performance won me rave reviews, and the productions were well covered by the local press. A striking portrait of myself won national photography competition organised by La Poste, French equivalent of the Post Office.
The latter production company offered an actor's training workshop, based on Street
theatre techniques, which I attended.
I then acted in their productions for the anniversary of Christopher Columbus' discovery of America, in 1992, and onwards.
Along the years, I learnt how the Director, Mr Jose Alpha, looked after his beloved artists, and projects. I had the opportunity to assist backstage.
In London, I took part in a production of Aida, by International Opera and Ballet company Ellen Kent Productions. I played one of the slaves, and got both great oral compliments, and a great written reference from the directors.
I have also taken part in a music promotion video for a Pop band, playing a Voodoo Temptress (The Dead Eye Mariners).
I have had a very wide range of emotional experiences, in my personal life; and have been able to intellectualize them, in order to transform them into powerful artistic material. (Loneliness, homelessness, pennilessness, poverty, hunger, extreme fears for my life, loss, mourning, true horror and extreme violence, rejection, identity searches, compassion, intellectual research, depression...)
I love to observe/ study people and their emotional journeys, and have had many opportunities to do so.
I took a short course on Directing Different Plays, at the City Lit; and extends her knowledge and research whenever possible, in view of the long-term goal, to direct Opera productions.
Furthermore, I have had had opportunities to be an extra on various TV commercials in London.
I am also very tall and therefore very unique in looks.
My playing age group: 27/ 67 years old.
I enjoy wearing aging makeup and play older characters with extra wisdom and luggage.
I love to explore opportunities and discover roles for the people they represent...

I am currently developing stage concepts for solo stage singing, including impacting outfits and make-up, acting and operatic arias.
