Not all clauses will be applicable to every event or performance. The following can be customized. Please make contact with any related query.

Please read the FAQ page quite carefully.
Sandrine’s Standard Booking Terms & Conditions:
Any booking whether confirmed verbally, electronically or in writing will be subject to a legally binding contract carrying the following terms and conditions of booking.
Following the Client’s enquiry, the Performer will provide details of the booking and an invoice. The booking will only become confirmed once the Performer receives the agreed fees in full (or deposit if the event is more than 6 weeks away) and a receipt is issued to that effect.

If the required payment is not received within one week of invoicing, the booking will lapse and the date and time will be available to offers from other clients. At times, the performer will accept short-notice bookings, but contract signature and payment must ensue within 48 hours.
The Client should make clear the nature of the event, venue location, audience number and type, performance length, and all other salient details at the time of booking.
Where crucial material details are omitted from the booking, the Performer reserves the right to cancel her performance and receive the agreed full booking fee.
If at the time of a booking enquiry the Performer is unavailable, she will recommend other dancers who the Client might want to book.
Travel expenses are included in the prices quoted for performances in venues in London. Additional costs will be incurred for any performances required outside this area.
The Performer often has multiple work assignments in one day or night and it is vital the agreed times booked for performances are adhered to.
The Client should make sure that the appropriate amount of time is allocated between sets; that is long enough for the Performer to get changed (15 minutes minimum), and no longer than 30 minutes. Should the Performer have to wait more than half an hour between two sets, she then reserves the right to leave without refunding the Client. This is to allow the Performer to attend other bookings, as well as tend to her own personal life.
If the Client requires the time to be changed at short notice the Performer will try to accommodate this request, but is under no obligation to do so.
For private classes, the Performer reserves the right to change the venue, times or dates for the classes. If the Client cannot attend a class he/she has already paid for because of the change of venue, time, date, the fee will be refunded.
The Performer reserves the right to cancel any classes or workshops without prior notice. Any prepaid fees for the cancelled classes or workshops will be refunded or can be carried over to subsequent classes.
The Performer operates a full refund policy if she is unavailable for the dates and times booked by the Client. Where possible, if the Performer is unable to attend the Client’s function for any reason, a suitable replacement will be sourced with the Performer covering any additional costs. If not, the Client will be reimbursed in full including any deposit paid.
Where the Performer must cancel a booking, she will not be liable for any other costs or expenses beyond refunding her booking fee.
If a Client wants to cancel a booking, this must be made in writing by letter or email as soon as possible.
Cancellation policy: Cancellations within 3 to 21 days before the event will incur a 20% fee, and less than 48 hours notice for cancellation will incur a full booking charge.
Booking deposits are non-refundable.
If a booking has been confirmed and the Performer attends the function to find another dancer has been booked in too, the full fee shall still be payable as per this agreement.
The Performer will not tolerate any aggressive, demeaning or abusive behavior from anyone. She reserves the right to terminate her performance at any time should she feel her personal safety and wellbeing is under threat. If this occurs, no refund of any fees will be given and she reserves the right to claim damages against any person(s).
The Client must ensure suitable changing facilities are provided at the venue, which should include a toilet, mirrors and space for costume changes. In addition, the Client must offer a secure storage facility for the Performer to store her valuables during her performance.
The Performer is happy to perform for the agreed fees, although any tipping from customers is also welcome. This can be done during or after the performance.
The Client will ensure that all equipment needed for the performance, such as CD machine and speakers, is available and fit for purpose.
The Performer agrees to conduct herself in a sober and proper manner and respond to the reasonable wishes of the Client as to the time and location of the performance, or other matters concerning their customers’ enjoyment of the event.
The Client will ensure the venue and/or event where the performance will occur is covered by public liability insurance cover, whenever this is needed.
The Performer is not responsible for obtaining any license that may be required to stage the event. The Client shall ensure that any such licenses are obtained at least one month prior to the event. If they are unable to obtain this and need to cancel the event at short notice, the Performer must still receive the agreed fees in full.
The Performer, at her discretion, reserves the right to discontinue all or part of her performance if the working environment constitutes a health and safety risk. If service is discontinued for the aforementioned reason, no refunds will be given.
The Performer may take photographs or be filmed during events and publish for promotional reasons. In this instance, all copyright is held by the Performer. The Client should make clear in advance of the event if they will not permit such filming or photography.
The Performer authorizes the Client and audience to take videos and photos of her performances, provided they are only for personal use only. They may not be used for any commercial reason or be put on any websites accessible by the general public or used in any printed materials without her prior express permission.
Acceptable methods of payment include: Paypal, online bank transfers, and (occasionally) cash.
Under no circumstances will the Performer begin rendering services until the balance is paid in full. Should you wish to arrange for exceptional deposit part-payment, please make contact. Please read FAQ page.
Where there is a long-standing arrangement for regular performances, either party can terminate this arrangement by giving four weeks written notice.
Should be there be any complaints about the performer’s work or work ethics, the Client should put those in writing to the Performer’s email address BellydanceLondon@hotmail.co.uk
The performer will endeavour to settle any dispute in a fair manner. Should the offered solution still be unsatisfactory, the Client is welcome to take their complaints to various Trading Standards organisations.
